Sliding patio doors

Sliding Doors

Safe. Secure. Easy to use. Aesthetic.

Using the latest European technology, we custom-build sliding door systems that achieve excellent energy efficiency and meet the modern demands of your household.

European sliding doors for Perth use lift-and-slide and tilt-and-slide systems that glide effortlessly even on wide panels. The handle lifts the sash off its seal to slide, then drops back for an airtight, watertight seal when locked. Double or triple glazing, multi-point locking, soft-close mechanism and an optional low-profile sill for safe, level access.

Innovative Advantages

Engineered for Everyday Ease

Three innovations you'll feel from the very first use.

Soft-Close Mechanism

One turn of the handle is all that is needed to unlock, open, and move the sash with perfect ease. The expended energy is stored and used to pull the sash automatically back into the frame after it has been closed, much like a soft-close drawer.

Secure Ventilation

Draught-free, consistent and natural ventilation is achieved by turning the door handle 180° to set down the sash by 6mm parallel to the frame. The door stays secured by the locking system and the gap is not visible to anyone looking in from the outside.

Easy Access

A low-profile sill option is available for easy access when moving through the door, preventing accidental tripping, slipping or falling. A great option if you have children or elderly family members throughout your household.

Frame Materials

Aluminium or uPVC: We Do Both

Choose the material that best suits your home, your style and your budget. Both deliver the same European engineering inside.

Thermally Broken Aluminium

Slim sightlines, structural strength for very large panels, available in 200+ Acrylcolor powder coat finishes. The premium choice for design-led contemporary homes.

Multi-Chamber uPVC

Superior thermal performance, zero maintenance, available in white, grey and woodgrain finishes. A practical, cost-effective choice that doesn't compromise on quality.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between lift-and-slide and tilt-and-slide?

Lift-and-slide: the handle lifts the sash off its bottom seal before it slides, dramatically reducing friction so large heavy panels glide with a single finger. Tilt-and-slide combines that with a tilt-ventilation mode (the top of the panel opens inward) for secure background airflow without fully opening the door.

How wide can a sliding door go?

Lift-and-slide systems are ideal for openings from 2 to 6 metres, with multi-track configurations available for even wider spans. Custom engineering is available for unusually large or non-standard openings.

Are European sliding doors really airtight?

Yes. When closed and locked, the lift-and-slide sash drops back onto a continuous bottom seal, creating an airtight, watertight closure. This is fundamentally different from standard Australian sliders, where the sash always rests on the seal and friction prevents a tight closure.

Is the low-profile sill safe for children and elderly people?

Yes - that's exactly why we recommend it. The low-profile sill option provides easy, level access without the trip hazard of a raised threshold, while still maintaining a weather seal when the door is closed.

Aluminium or uPVC sliding doors - which should I choose?

Aluminium suits very large panels and design-led contemporary homes with slim sightlines. uPVC offers superior thermal performance and lower cost at typical residential sizes. Both share the same lift-and-slide European engineering inside.
